Subway to the Nature Walk:

Take the G train to Greenpoint Avenue. Use the Greenpoint/Manhattan Avenue exit. With the McDonald's on your left, walk along Greenpoint Avenue one long block east and cross McGuinnes Boulevard. Continue on Greenpoint Avenue to the next traffic light and make a left on Provost Street. Walk eight blocks north (to the end). Make a right on Paidge Avenue where the Nature Walk begins. (12 minute walk)

#7 to Vernon Blvd-Jackson Ave

Take the #7 train to the Vernon Blvd-Jackson Ave (Queens) stop. Walk east on 50th Avenue and turn south on 11th Street. Cross the Pulaski Bridge over Newtown Creek into Brooklyn. Before you reach the end, take the staircase down to the street level; you will be on Ash Street. Walk east under the bridge and cross McGuinness Boulevard to Paidge Ave. (21 minute walk)

Subway to the Visitor Center at Newtown Creek

Take the G train to Greenpoint Avenue. Use the Greenpoint/Manhattan Avenue exit. With the McDonald’s on your left, walk along Greenpoint Avenue one long block east and cross McGuinnes Boulevard. Continue on Greenpoint Avenue to the next traffic light and cross Provost. The Newtown Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant will be on your left. Follow the fence-line and continue walking until you reach the main gate to the plant, at a traffic light on Humboldt Street. The Visitor Center at Newtown Creek will be in front of you. It is a two-story orange brick building surrounded by a garden and water sculpture.

Please note that the B24 bus runs along Greenpoint Avenue, although not very often.  If you take it from the subway, be sure that you are traveling towards Humboldt Street where you will get off.
