The Neversink Reservoir

The Neversink Reservoir is calm and serene,
The great deep water is blue
surrounded by forrests everywhere,
the water is crystal clear

The reflections show the beauty of the forests,
The area is peaceful
and the air fresh and clean,

In the silence you hear the birds chirping
and the water rushing down
to the rivers and streams

It is as blue as the sky
As clear as the sun
As cold as a freezer
It’s so fun!

You wash away with the waves
And I smile at you
So don’t leave me my friend blue
