Requests for agency records pursuant to FOIL must be submitted in writing to DDC's FOIL Records Access Officer. Requests can be mailed or emailed, as indicated below.

When available, the following information should be included in the FOIL request: location details, time period to be searched, date of accident (if applicable), and the type(s) of record(s) requested. Please remember, the more specific the FOIL request, the easier it will be for DDC to perform an expedient search and to locate responsive and relevant documentation.

Please note that FOIL requests are intended for obtaining records and are not suitable for comments or questions requiring a response.  Questions or concerns about the duration of a project, project start date, bid date, payment status, etc. should be directed to the appropriate DDC division as listed on the "Contact DDC" page.
