On February 27, 2012 the Department of City Planning certified the Uniform Land Use Review Procedure (ULURP) application (C 120195 ZMQ) for the Woodhaven – Richmond Hill rezoning to begin the formal public review process.

On July 25, 2012, the City Council adopted the proposed zoning map changes with a modification affecting one block at the eastern edge of the rezoning area. The modification retains existing R5 zoning for one block located between Liberty Avenue and 102nd Avenue facing the Van Wyck expressway where R4A was proposed. |
