Background
On December 21, 2005, the City Council adopted zoning map amendments (C 060061 ZMR, C 060062 ZMR, C 060063 ZMR) recommended by the task force to ensure that future development  will be consistent with the new commercial regulations, also adopted on this date (PDF Document Read the CPC Reports.). The zoning map changes affect three commercial areas in Castleton, New Dorp Lane and at Arthur Kill Road and Richmond Avenue.
