Welcome to City Planning's
guide to parking garages and lots throughout
the five boroughs of New York City. The maps
on this website can help you locate licensed
off-street parking in the vicinity of your
destination.
Developed by the
Department of City Planning as part of its
Parking Information and Demonstration Project,
the maps show the location of all parking
facilities licensed by the Department of
Consumer Affairs, as of August 2009, in The
Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens,
and Staten
Island. The list of sites
in New York City includes major cultural
institutions, government offices, sports
and recreational facilities, colleges, hospitals,
and other points of interest - each of which
can be linked to a map showing nearby parking
facilities.
Technical
Requirements: The Parking Facilities
maps are interactive and require the free Macromedia
Flash plug-in.
