Market At the mid-block on the south side
of West 116th Street between Malcolm X Blvd. and Fifth Avenue
The vendors at this market are
mostly immigrants from the various nations of West Africa.
Their stalls feature many colorful items like textiles,
wood carvings, clothing, music and foods from countries
such as Ghana and Nigeria. When you enter the market, you
will find a friendly atmosphere and reasonable prices.
