a site of great activity, the corner of Lenox Avenue and W.
116th Street in 1880 was the venue for the "Central Park
Bull-Fight." For $1.50 one could watch "The Celebrated
(Toreros) Spanish Bull-Fighters," challenge"Six
Wild Texas Bulls!!!"
