Between West 135th and West 125th streets a Fairway Supermarket parking lot blocks the waterfront. Cyclists are currently detoured to Twelfth Avenue, which is striped southbound and signed northbound as an interim route along the greenway. EDC has plans and full funding for a separated, shared-use path along the waterfront, which will become a park area. The path and park should be finished in 2007.
