The BYTES of the BIG APPLE base map datasets cover New York City's five boroughs. A variety of geographic features are available.

The tax lot datasets are GIS datasets depicting the outlines of New York City tax lots. The following is a sample graphic of the tax lot data in Queens. The sample download is for the same area of Queens in the Jamaica neighborhood. Coordinates for these datasets are stored in NAD83 New York Long Island State Plane Feet (FIPS 3104). These files are schematic representations of the tax lots and should not be used for applications that require either engineering accuracy or precise spatial locations.
