City Planning’s website provides multiple resources for property owners around the city to understand what they can develop on their property.

	ZoLa provides a simple way to research property and zoning regulations in New York City.
	The text and maps of the Zoning Resolution are also available.
	The Zoning Handbook provides simple explanation of what is allowed in each zoning district.

The Zoning Helpdesk provides zoning information and interpretation to the general public. You can get specific zoning questions answered by calling on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between the hours of 9 - 12 and 1 - 4. When you call, leave a message and a professional planner will call you back within 48 hours. Please have your block and lot information available when you contact the Help Desk.
