Donations may be dropped off at the MFTA warehouse's loading dock on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays between 9:00am and 3:00pm.
To ensure prompt receipt of a tax acknowledgment letter, please provide the donor's contact information and the declared value of the dontation at the time of the drop off.

Upon entering the loading dock call 718-729-2065 and MFTA staff will assist you with your donation.
Donations that weigh more than 250 pounds and/or have a donor-declared value of more than $1,000 may qualify for a free pickup. Pickups are available weekdays from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Pickups are generally scheduled 3 - 4 weeks in advance.

With high demand for our pick-up service, the donations department considers a variety of factors when scheduling pick-ups, including: donation size, recipient demand for items, current warehouse inventory, and the pick-up location. If possible, scheduled drop offs are the preferred way to donate to MFTA.
Donations may be shipped to MFTA via the US Postal Service, UPS, FedEx, DHL, or any private courier service. To ensure prompt receipt of a tax acknowledgment letter, please provide the donor's contact information and the donation's declared value with the shipment.Shipping Address:

Any item can be donated through MFTA's Direct Donations list, which can be accessed online by MFTA recipients. Interested recipients can request the donor's contact information to discuss the listing. Recipients are responsible for all arrangements regarding pick up of the item.
Once an item on Direct Donations has been taken by an MFTA recipient, the donor will receive a tax acknowledgement letter.
