There is a process for requesting Member Item funding through City Council, and a second process to make your organization eligible to receive a Member Item totaling more than $10,000. Please note that both processes are for expense funding only.
In order to be eligible for Fiscal 2010 Member Item support, organizations MUST submit a Cultural Development Fund Application by the March 23, 2009 deadline (organizations in the 2009-2011 multi-year award cycle will be required to submit a Renewal form prior to the start of Fiscal 2010, but are not required to meet the March 23rd deadline.)
If you are interested in requesting a Member Item, in addition to submitting the CDF application by the deadline (or renewal form for multi-year award recipients), your organization must fill out the “New York City Council FY10 Organization Qualification Form,” and must also contact the relevant City Council Members and/or Borough Delegations to submit any requested materials. Please note that organizations that were prequalified in FY2009 must submit the “Recertification Form” in lieu of the “Prequalification Application,” available on the same web page.
