Department of Cultural Affairs Funding Requests
If you plan to request capital funding for Fiscal Year 2013 from the Department of Cultural Affairs and/or other elected officials, please note we have simplified the request form and the process. First there is now only one form to complete to determine if your organization and project are eligible under criteria established by the City of New York and to request funding. Second, by using organizational and capital information already submitted through the Cultural Data Project (CDP), organizations will be able to utilize that CDP data to submit in this year's request form.
Please click on the link below to access the FY2013 form.
FY2013 Capital Funding Request
On the Borough President and City Council websites, cultural organizations can also find links to the Capital Funding request forms. The request form(s) will be made available on January 5, 2012. Submission deadlines for Borough Presidents and DCLA are February 28, 2012, and for City Council, April 9, 2012.
Please note completion of the Request Form will not guarantee an allocation of funding. Your organization may be contacted by DCLA and/or elected officials to provide more detailed or additional information.
A Capital Funding Seminar will be held at DCLA on Thursday, January 26, 2012 from 10am to 12pm to review capital eligibility requirements, guidelines and completion of request forms. The seminar is not mandatory; however, we strongly encourage you to attend if you are unfamiliar with the City capital funding process and requirements. Please RSVP to capitalrequest@culture.nyc.gov or call Lettie Hoggard at 212-513-9316 by Friday, January 20, 2012.
