Notice Regarding Civil Service Exam Application Fees

• On January 1, 2011, DCAS adopted a new schedule of civil service exam application fees. Fees for exams have increased. DCAS has adopted other changes to its examinations rules to reflect current procedures. For details, see the official legal notice here.
  
  
• As part of the fee change, DCAS is offering a $5 discount for applicants who file online for exams through the DCAS Online Application System (OASys) and pay with a credit card, debit card or bank card.
  
  
• Also as part of the fee change, DCAS is re-instituting the filing fee for the Police Officer exam. The new fee will be $40 (or $35 if paying with a credit card, debit card or bank card).
  
  
• Application fees for the other exams offered continuously at the DCAS Computerized Testing Centers increased in January under the new fee schedule.
