The City uses bidders lists, which are computerized records of contractors that supply the goods and services we often need. Bidders on the list receive invitations to bid on purchases or respond to RFPs, and are included in the random selection for small purchase solicitations.
DCAS Agency Purchasing uses New York City’s centralized bidders list when soliciting construction and service contracts. The Office of Citywide Purchasing maintains its own bidders lists for the solicitation of goods and services to support City agencies.
