Fraud alert! No one from the City or PSI, the City's testing company, is calling firefighter candidates requesting personal information. Do not provide your social security number or any other personal information to callers claiming to represent the City or PSI. Calls requesting such personal information may be a scam. Please note: The FDNY is calling applicants to invite them to tutorial sessions. Applicants will NOT be asked to provide any personal identifying information during these calls.

The filing periods for Firefighter, Exam No. 2000, and Promotion to Firefighter, Exam No. 2500 are closed. You may check this website for any announcements about the upcoming computer based test, which is scheduled to begin administration on March 15, 2012. Applicants should have received their Admission Notices with the date, time and location they are scheduled to take the test. If you have not received your Admission Notice send an email to fdnyschedule@psionline.com with your full name and Social Security number or call the Candidate Support Center at 1-800-701-0289 and leave a message with your full name, home mailing address, a phone number, and your Social Security number.
