HOW TO APPLY
Follow the instructions on the official Notice of Examination (NOE) to apply online or by mail.
Applying by mail:
To apply by mail, submit your properly completed application forms along with any payment
(by money order only) to DCAS Application Unit, 1 Centre Street, 14th Floor, New York, New
York 10007 and postmarked no later than the last date of the application filing period.
Applications are not accepted in person.

Application forms are available online, in person or by mail:
Online: You can download applications from our Application Forms page.
In person: Visit our Applications Center at 2 Lafayette Street, 17th floor, Manhattan. The
Center is open Monday to Friday (except holidays), from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
By mail: Mail a request along with a self-addressed stamped envelope to DCAS Application
Unit, 1 Centre Street, 14th floor, New York, New York 10007. Requests must be received at
least seven days before the filing closes.
