Cars, car parts, trucks and motor scooters are sold at auction every other Wednesday (unless otherwise noted) at the Brooklyn Navy Yard, entrance at 570 Kent Avenue in Brooklyn. Doors open 8:30 a.m. for inspection; sale starts 9:00 a.m. Auctions are open to the public. 

NOTE: City employees are not permitted to bid on or purchase vehicles at this auction. See "terms and condition of sale," item number 20.

Please be advised, the following restriction has been added to the auction Terms and Conditions of Sale (in PDF).

• NO ONE WILL BE ADMITTED TO THE AUCTION CARRYING: Bags, Parcels, Packages or ANY ARTICLE used for containment or transport. (This restriction has been added to the auction terms and conditions of sale as item number 2).
  
  
• Customers who have paid the required deposit amount for any vehicle (see section #14 of these terms and conditions) are required to provide government issued photo ID (i.e. driver’s license or passport) before the final payment for such vehicles will be accepted. (This requirement has been added to the auction terms and conditions of sale item number 5).
