MAYOR BLOOMBERG RELEASES FY 2007 PRELIMINARY MAYOR'S MANAGEMENT REPORT
The PMMR provides a snapshot of how the City performed four months into the fiscal year, and forecasts expected levels of service based on the City’s Preliminary Budget. The report shows continued strong performance in the delivery of city services, specifically highlighting DCA’s work to prevent illegal sales of tobacco to kids.

Department of Consumer Affairs Reports an Increase of 40% in Restitution Secured for New Yorkers with Debt Collection Complaints
The New York City Department of Consumer Affairs secured the largest increase in the amount of restitution for consumers with debt collection complaints – an increase of 40% from the previous year, while home improvement contractors continued to top the list of complaints received at the Department.

New York City Kicks Off Tax Season with the 5th Annual Earned Income Tax Credit Campaign
Deputy Mayor Linda Gibbs and Department of Consumer Affairs Commissioner Jonathan Mintz today kicked off New York City's 5th Annual Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) Campaign to help working families and individuals earning less than $38,000 claim refunds of as much as $6,000 when filing their taxes.
