The New York City Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA) is urging consumers who had their cars destroyed or damaged by the fire at the parking facility located at 422 W. 15th Street to contact the DCA by calling 311. The location is a licensed parking garage (Chelsea Park 15 West LLC).
The DCA will monitor the garage owner’s compensation process and if necessary will seek reimbursement for consumers through the company’s bond. Those filing with the DCA should have all proper receipts and documentation.
