Whether or not you participate in the Step Out, New York City community walks, we invite you to track your physical activity progress online. Keeping a record of your physical activities on a daily basis can serve as motivation to keep up your hard work and maintain your progression throughout the summer.
Can’t get out of the house and afraid your activity calendar will be blank for the day? Even such activities as gardening and housecleaning help to keep you fit, so be sure to log in and enter your minutes of participation in any variety of physical activities in your calendar.
Don’t forget: you can also track your progress in number of steps that you take every day using a pedometer. This will help you reach the recommended level of 10,000 steps per day.
