Welcome to the Conflicts of Interest Board's Online Interactive Training Tool. Successful completion of this course means you have been trained in your responsibilities to comply with Chapter 68, the City's Conflicts of Interest Law.

The course is broken into modules that address different areas of the law. Some of them have slides and some of them include video clips. Each module contains a set of review questions that relate to the content in the slides and the videos. If you miss a question, you will be redirected back to review information relevant to the question, and then you may re-take the question. Once you have answered each question correctly, you may move on to the next module. Upon completing all modules, you will register according to your name, title, and agency email address, which will be forwarded to your agency training contact.

1. No training program could cover EVERY conflicts of interest situation. Every set of facts is a little different. If you ever have a question, please call the Board's Attorney of the Day for confidential, free advice on your particular set of facts. The Attorney of the Day can be reached 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday.
2. Chapter 68 is baseline Conflicts of Interest Code for the City. Your agency may have additional rules on the acceptance of gifts, outside jobs, or other topics. Please refer to your agency counsel about agency-specific rules.
