Misuse of Position

Chapter 68 contains restrictions on the misuse of one's City position to obtain a financial benefit for oneself or an associate. Further, in the efforts of protecting the public trust in government, the law requires of public servants disclosure and recusal in certain situations where taking an official action might confer a benefit to themselves or an associate.

You will find on this page materials that relate to these restrictions, including legal analyses and plain language materials.
