NYC Conflicts of Interest Board

Every New York City public servant has the duty to comply with the Conflicts of Interest Law. And every public servant can reasonably expect to encounter potential conflicts of interest between their public duties and private interests from time to time.

In order heighten awareness of the law and provide public servants with resources to help them manage potential conflicts, the Board's Training & Education Unit conducts hundreds of classes each year, using a lively interactive format that emphasizes both the letter and the spirit of the law. Classes are available in various formats and levels of complexity, and can be tailor-made to address both conflicts of interest rules and related agency rules. The Training & Education Unit also offers a number of Continuing Legal Education courses in Chapter 68 at no charge.

To arrange a class or series of classes for your agency, please contact Alex Kipp, Director of Training & Education.
