In partnership with the New York City Department of Education, Reel Works Teen Filmmaking and Microsoft, MOCJ created a public awareness campaign in June 2010 consisting of short films about four key areas of Internet Safety. These films - two documentaries, two narratives – cover the areas of online gaming, sexual predators, cyber bullying, and protecting anonymity online. They were produced by teens in collaboration with professional writers, filmmakers and producers. In addition to being broadcast on NYCTV, the films were made available to nearly 215,000 public middle school students in New York City.
