The Nurse-Family Partnership is a national nurse home visiting program for low-income, first-time mothers; their infants; and their families.

Research has shown the NFP program to be effective in improving health-related outcomes and general social well-being. An independent RAND Corporation study estimated cost savings over a program participant's child's lifetime to be at least four times greater than the cost of the program itself.
