Unemployment Status in employment is a protected class under the City Human Rights Law. The info card also informs employers of how this provision of the Law applies to them.
The Commission’s Equal Access Info Card provides information about discrimination for individuals with disabilities. Under the NYC Human Rights Law, people with disabilities have a right to fully participate in all areas of life, including housing, employment, and public accommodations.
