As part of the Commission’s 50th Anniversary as an official city agency, CCHR produced a CD-ROM of 100 selected major reports, speeches, surveys, documents, testimony from public hearings, and policy papers since its earliest days in 1934 as a voluntary Mayoral committee. These reports total over 6,000 pages of documents, some previously unreleased. They offer an extraordinary view into the struggles of many communities for equal rights and opportunities and reflect various aspects of the Commission’s work to address discrimination and race relations in New York City.
