The New York City Commission on Human Rights and the New York Immigration Coalition launched an initiative to educate immigrants on Federal and City legal protections they have under the Anti-Discrimination Protections of IRCA and the New York City Human Rights Law. The Commission and the Coalition are reaching out and providing training, workshops and presentations in several languages to diverse communities in the New York City Area.

The Immigrant Employment Rights Project is funded by the Office of the Special Counsel, Civil Rights Division, Department of Justice.
