The
New York City Commission on Human Rights and the New York Immigration
Coalition launched an initiative to educate immigrants on Federal
and City legal protections they have under the Anti-Discrimination
Protections of IRCA and the New York City Human Rights Law. The
Commission and the Coalition are reaching out and providing training,
workshops and presentations in several languages to diverse communities
in the New York City Area.
The Immigrant Employment Rights Project is funded by the Office
of the Special Counsel, Civil Rights Division, Department of Justice.
