NYC Human Rights Commissioner Patricia Gatling, The LAMP Executive Director DC Vito, and Reenbow Media President Renee Lobo screened three public service announcements (PSAs) produced by young adults at an event at the Flushing Library. NYS Assembly Member Grace Meng joined the group. The PSAs focus on discrimination, cyberbullying, and the NYC Human Rights Law, one of the strongest civil rights laws in the nation.

Commission Issues a Final Decision and Order, 04-24-12
The NYC Commission on Human Rights ordered a Queens housing provider to pay a disabled tenant $75,000 in compensatory damages and pay the City of NY a fine in the amount of $125,000. The Commission also ordered the building owner to install a wheelchair accessible entrance to the apartment.
