Cyberbullying Training for CCHR Staff

In September 2011, the NYC Commission on Human Rights provided cyberbullying training to all Human Rights Specialists from its 5 borough-based Community Service Centers. Dr. Parry Aftab, an internationally recognized expert on cybercrime, internet privacy, and cyber-abuse issues, led the training. Dr. Aftab highlighted different types of cyberbullying relating to the City Human Rights Law and what to do when cyberbullied. Commission staff includes cyberbullying education in most of the Commission’s community and school presentations geared for adult and school-aged audiences.
