As residents of the Community Board 5 area we want to help strengthen our neighborhoods. We believe a stronger community is the more likely to be safe, happy place for its residents, businesses, and families to live and grow in. Community Board 5 and surrounding areas offer valuable resources which include great shopping districts such as Fordham Rd., Burnside/ University Avenue, and variety of organizations that offer services to members of our community.

Community Board 5 is always looking for ways to serve you better and will continue to work to improve the quality of life in the district. However, as a stakeholder in your Community your civic pride and participation is important. Therefore, please attend our General Board meetings and inform us about your needs and concerns. Community Board 5 meetings are held every fourth Wednesday of each month* beginning in September thorough June or join one of the board's committees.
