Dear Friends,

Brooklyn Community Board #4’s will be hosting our 5th Shape-Up Bushwick Parade and Festivities on Brooklyn Queens Day, Thursday, June 8th, 2017 and we invite your organization to partake in our “Shape-Up Bushwick” Parade and festivities which will run from approximately 10am through 4pm.  The day begins with a short parade route (soon to be update in the near future) Thereafter, the festivities will take place at the Irving Square Park located on Halsey Street and Knickerbocker Avenue.

  In keeping with our theme, Shape-up Bushwick, we have planned fitness, Aerobics, Zumba and Yoga instructions for all ages- with a specific focus on children as they will be out of school on this day. 
We will offer the participants healthy wrap sandwiches and snacks.

“Shape-Up Bushwick” translates to a healthy neighborhood through healthier choices, thereby we encourage and invite Community Based Organizations and others to join us on this magnificent day for tabling and dissemination of healthy literature.  Please join with us in promoting good health.
