Copier Purchase
After solicitation of bids from five venders, Community Board 2 has purchased a photocopier. In the past, the community board has leased a copier from a vender pre-approved by the City's Department of Citywide Administrative Services. The district office calculates the purchase price and monthly maintenance agreement of the new equipment to be less than the cost of 13 months of its previous lease. It is estimated the savings over a three-year period, the typical lease term, will be over $6,000.
