Tammy Arnstein is a doctoral student in Comparative and International Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. She also has an EdM from Teachers College in International Educational Development, and an MFA in film and video production from the University of Texas at Austin. Tammy was a 2008 Coro Immigrant Civic Leadership Program participant and a 2001-2002 Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholar in Lyon, France. Her past work experience includes language policy research, creation and implementation; media and museum education; and public television and higher education administration.

Allison Chang is an MA candidate in anthropology and education at Teachers College, Columbia University. Her focus is on ways education happens in and beyond schools. After graduating, Allison intends to teach high school and community college.

Daniel Falk is an MA candidate in the Guidance and Rehabilitation Program at Teachers College, Columbia University. Daniel is also the executive director of Camp Huntington, a residential summer camp and therapeutic program for children and young adults with developmental, intellectual and learning disabilities. He is the former executive director of The End Production Company in Los Angeles, which produced music videos for a number of notable musical artists and film directors. Daniel holds a BA from New York University in Political Science and Peace and Global Policy Studies, and a BA from SUNY New Paltz in Jazz Piano and Music Theory and Composition.

Marquina M. Iliev-Piselli is an MA candidate in Instructional Design and Media at Teachers College, Columbia University. She is a Research Associate for Dr. Joey J. Lee, Assistant Professor of Technology and Education at TC, is a founding member of the TC iPhone Development Group (TCiDG), and has been a Teacher Assistant for iPhone Development Boot Camp with Professor Cameron L. Fadjo, Research Associate at the Institute for Learning Technologies at TC. Marquina's overall goal is to build social and mobile apps for education. She also works as a Senior Account Manager building Facebook applications at NYC-based startup Odyl. Marquina holds a BA from the University of Michigan.

Hirumi Nanayakkara is an MFA candidate in Design and Technology at Parsons the New School for Design. Hirumi is currently focusing on using mobile technology, new media and interactive design to further affect social change in areas of sustainability, social justice and education. Prior to attending Parsons, Hirumi worked in Higher Education management for the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. She holds a BS in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine.

Domenick Propati is an MFA candidate in Design and Technology from Parsons the New School for Design. Currently a Creative Technologist and Interaction Designer, Domenick specializes in HCI and User interface Design. His projects and goals have made a shift from Time-Based media to the realms of Social and Mobile Media.

Mili Thomas is an MA candidate in Psychology and Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. Her interest in social media and education are rooted in her desire to raise awareness about mental health issues, increase psychoeducation, and empower women. Mili will begin doctoral studies in Counseling Psychology in fall 2011 at Georgia State University in Atlanta.

Yuan Elle Wang is an MA candidate in Communication, Technology and Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. Her interests include digital and social media studies in both corporate and educational settings, and distance learning. She has previously worked at MTV Networks doing research on the influence of social media on young adults' educational perspectives. Before coming to New York, she was a student journalist for the China Daily in Beijing.
