| Why: |
Children’s Services recently partnered with a number of private foundations, service providers, community-based organizations, faith-based groups and contract agencies that serve children and families in Highbridge to reduce foster-care placements, decrease the reports and incidents of child abuse and neglect, shorten the length of stay in foster care and prevent re-entry into the foster care system.
Commissioner Mattingly and other Children’s Services officials will talk about the success of this partnership, called the “BridgeBuilders Project,” and consider current and future challenges confronting the community.
