ACS Plan for Preparing Youth for Adulthood

More than half the children living in foster care in New York City are over the age of 12. Preparing Youth for Adulthood seeks to coordinate and strengthen the efforts of ACS and our provider agencies to create positive outcomes for all NYC youth and and transitioning from care.

Implementation Plan Update for Local Law 73

Immigration and Language Guidelines for Child Welfare Staff

This implementation plan update presents the steps that the Administration for Children's Services has initiated during calendar year 2005 to ensure compliance with Local Law 73 of 2003. The update also provides data on the number of limited English proficient persons served by Children's Services during 2005.
