"Kids At Heart" Brings Cheer to

City foster care gathered at the Chelsea Piers Field House for Kids At Heart, a
free, fun-filled, circus-themed event hosted by the National Council For

Children's Services Creates Child
and Family Friendly Spaces
Bright new
spaces and sweeping vistas await many families using new visiting rooms at
Children’s Services. When families enter the visiting room at the Manhattan
borough office location at 110 William Street, they are greeted by the
“Waterfall” public arts project on one side and 20th floor views of magnificent
architectural buildings nearby. In Richmond Hill, Queens, there is another
family visiting site, located in a one-family brick house, complete with an

Conference Targets Youth Leaving Care
“Who is this young person connected with when they
leave here? Where do they go or are they alone? It’s unacceptable for them to
leave care without getting connected to someone.” That was the challenge posed
by Lorraine Stephens, Deputy Commissioner of Family Permanency Services, on July
11th at the first of what will be a regular meeting between Children’s Services’
Office of Youth Development and foster care providers working with young

Services Family Preservation Program staff celebrated with FPP families at a
holiday gift giving reception, bringing smiles and joy to children’s faces. FPP

IT Solutions and Services, Inc.
