Roberts in a room of Preventive Services agency program directors and

conviction, Roberts asked each agency to nominate staff members who are among
the "unsung heroes" in helping families deal with their very difficult

March 2009 NYPD Liaison to ACS Lieutenant Fanale
Retires After 23 years in the NYPD, Lieutenant Carolyn Fanale has
retired. Fanale served for the last two and a half years as the first the
NYPD liaison to ACS. In addition to her role as liaison between the two
agencies, Fanale provided instruction to staff on domestic violence. Read

Child Safety Graduates 30 Managers
On March 12, 2009, the third group made up of thirty Child Protective Managers from the ACS Department of Child Protection graduated from the Leadership Academy for Child Safety. The graduation was attended by Commissioner John Mattingly, Deputy Commissioners Jan Flory and Anne Williams-Isom and other senior staff including Assistant Commissioners from each borough.
