The Region II STD/HIV Prevention Training Center (PTC) is one of ten regional training centers funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Located at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, this project is administered through Public Health Solutions (formerly the Medical and Health Research Association of New York City, Inc.)
The mission of the Region II STD/HIV PTC is to reduce sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) and HIV morbidity and improve reproductive health by addressing the educational needs of medical providers throughout New York City, New York State, New Jersey, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
PREVENTION TRAINING CENTER TARGET AUDIENCES
Target audiences of Prevention Training Center activities include physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and physician's assistants who provide clinical care.
