Finding What You Need
311 Online offers multiple ways to find what you need. You can do a basic keyword search or an advanced search, browse services by category, or use the Site Map.
- Look for an exact phase by using quotation marks ("voter registration").
- Expand your search by using the word OR (voter OR registration).
- Exclude a search term by using the word NOT (voter NOT registration).
311 Service Requests are complaints, requests, and reports that you can submit online or by calling 311. The City handles your request the same no matter where you submit it.
When you complete your Service Request, 311 gives you a Service Request number and sends your request to the appropriate agency for action. If you provide a valid email address, 311 sends you a confirmation message with the expected response time.
You can check the status of your request by entering your Service Request number into Service Request Lookup.
Go to Service Request Lookup.
Facility Finder helps you locate government offices, non-profit providers, and recreation opportunities in your community. You can search by ZIP code, borough, category, or facility name.
