Making Healthier Food Choices

The Human Resources Administration has created “Cut the Junk,” the city’s first ever illustrated healthy eating and cost comparison booklet to show that cooking food at home can be healthier and less expensive than eating take out or fast food. This effort is aimed at reducing chronic illnesses associated with obesity and promoting less expensive alternatives to unhealthy foods.
