Calorie Posting Information or Complaint

The City requires food establishments and mobile food vendors to post calorie information if they:

  • Are part of a national or local chain with 15 or more outlets
  • Offer mostly the same menu items at each location
  • Offer food with similar portion sizes and ingredients at each location

The food establishment or mobile food vendor must post calorie information for all food items, including beverages, on all menu boards and menus, on food items displayed for sale with a food item tag, and on menu boards at or before a drive through window. The menu must list calorie content for each size of item available. Calorie content font size must be as prominent as the font used for menu items.

The City accepts complaints about food establishments that do not post calorie information for the public.

Report a restaurant or food vendor failing to display calorie information.
