Environmental Control Board Violation Information

The City provides information about Environmental Control Board (ECB) violations, which are issued by City Agencies for various non-criminal quality-of-life violations.

You can find out how to respond to your ticket, make a request to reschedule your hearing, or find out if you are eligible for an online hearing.  Using ECB's Ticket Finder, you can search for your ticket by number or by your name or address to get information, see and print a copy of the ticket, and pay your ticket.

Some examples of common ECB violations include:

  • Dirty sidewalk
  • Unleashed dog
  • Loitering
  • Noise
  • Public indecency
  • Rollerblading or motorcycling in a forbidden area
  • Sidewalk obstruction
  • Rodent and pest control

Use ECB's Ticket Finder to get details about your violation, see and print a copy of your ticket, find your hearing date and location, and see your hearing results.
