The law requires that all children meet school immunization requirements before they can be admitted to school or day care facilities.
The City provides immunization records for children born in New York City after 1996 and for adolescents immunizations after 2005. In addition, the City may have a record of an immunization given to a child, adolescent, or adult if the vaccine was received in a City clinic after 1988.
