The City provides information about horseback riding at the North Meadow Recreation Center at 96th Street in Central Park.
Horseback riding and pony rides are available by appointment only, but anyone can visit and pet the horses on the weekends from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the North Meadow Recreation Center hitching post.
