The City has identified elevated lead levels in tap water for some residences
as part of an ongoing effort to monitor lead levels in homes with lead plumbing
or fixtures. As a result, the City recommends running the water from your
tap for 30 seconds, until the water is noticeably colder, to flush out any lead
before drinking, cooking or making baby formula.
