Through the Taxi and Limousine Commission's Accessible Dispatch program, you can arrange for a yellow taxi to pick up a wheelchair passenger in Manhattan. Normal taxi rates will apply. You are expected to get to the agreed upon location without assistance from the taxi driver. For pick-ups in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island, you should contact your local car service for a wheelchair-accessible car.
