The City receives and distributes gently used furniture items to New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) residents in need. Priority is given to residents who have relocated from a homeless shelter, victims of domestic violence, and families impacted by disasters. Furniture distribution is available to NYCHA residents in all five boroughs. For more information call the appropriate NYCHA Social Services borough office.
